Ratters is unique character, just the right sort of person you need around any sporting club to break the tedium and bring a spice of something different.

On the field, he’s stepped up for us in 2019/20 taking on a leadership role with our new D grade side and enjoying the hell out of it.

As you’d expect, his profile’s got some hair-raising moments.

Junior club – Lyndoch Cricket Club

Top score – 48* (Don’t think it’s fair to include my tons in school cricket 😂)

Best bowling figures – 3/2

Premierships – 0

Personal cricket highlight –

TOSer to star in 2019/20 – Ryan Humphreys will shine given the opportunity. The man was built for the big occasions

Your aims for 2019/20 – Learn how to leave balls outside my off stump. I have a tendency just to play at everything 🥴

Your TOS Dreamteam player – It was going to be Brad Cameron but the man has let me down so far this season, but Harrison Varley has been a very handy pick as a wicketkeeper-batsman batting at the same number every week and not being moved around the order.

Favourite TOSCC member – My son, Cameron Fletcher

Song you can sing every line to – The Chinese National Anthem

Do you have a Kathmandu jacket – I sure do. I wouldn’t feel right indulging in my smashed avocado on toast without it.

Brad Ratcliff is a big fan of science, particularly chemistry.

Five people you’d invite to a birthday party – Albert Hofmann, Anton Köllisch, Nagai Nagayoshi, Albert Niemann and my lawyer

Favourite App on your phone – The SAPOL app

Tinder. Yes, or no? – Not currently but it always has a place in my heart, reminding me of the good times.
