It is extremely exciting to announce to you all the appointment of Nathan Kennedy as the men’s Assistant Coach, as well as the reappointment of our Head Coach Alistair Forwood for the 2018/19 season.
Firstly, the appointment of our assistant coach brings a wealth of knowledge to our coaching team.
Nathan holds a personal trainer qualification and also obtained a bachelor of sports management in 2014.
Nathan has been involved with our club for close to a decade as a premiership player and extremely valuable committee member.
Nathan’s key focusses for the upcoming season include managing player fitness and workload, ensuring training intensity is high and relatable to match situations, game day management and assisting the Head Coach where required. We are looking forward to Nathan working with our playing group this season.
In Alistair’s first season as coach the club excelled and delivered an A grade premiership and strong finals representation in the B and C grades.
This year see’s new challenges ahead and we are extremely thrilled to have Alistair leading us, and with the support from Nathan, we feel we have an excellent leadership and coaching team for the 2018/19 season. Looking forward to the season ahead!
