With Australia taking on Scott Winkworth’s mob in the Test match, there was no Trinity Old Scholars’ cricket on the weekend, but still plenty of TOSers were in action.

Our stars for the week were:
Mark Williams, for his engaging and strongly asserted conversation skills at the cricket;
Mel Hardy, who showed excellent commitment to improve her game by being the only women’s player at training on Thursday night – great to see.

Speaking of the women’s side, they’re currently sitting third and are playing for second spot on the ladder this weekend, before playing finals the week after.
Meanwhile, Bradley Schaper informs us we’ve had a few oval changes for matches either side of the Christmas break.
Waldeck is getting a well-deserved rest, while the B & C grade will get to play a double header at home after the break, which is great news for the club.
This week’s T20 match will be played against Modbury on Wednesday night from 5.10pm at Main Oval, rather than Tuesday.
Other changes: Saturday, 16/23 December, B grade at Main Oval (1pm); Saturday, 13 January, C grade at Main Oval (1pm).
Remember, your subs are due and committee members will soon speak to those players who have yet to pay.
Next: Saturday – A grade v Brahma Lodge (Waldeck), B grade v Flinders Park (Flinders Park Reserve), C grade v PAOC (Gawler River), Women v Payneham (Payneham Oval).
